An opportunity to visit the world-famous Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre where orphaned orangutans are provided with the life-skills required to return to the jungle. You will also be able to see the sun bear (world’s smallest bear). After lunch a guided tour of the top sights in Sandakan.

Transfer to world-famous Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre to enjoy morning feeding in nursery and visit nearby Platform A where orangutans living in the rainforest can return for food
Visit Sun Bear Conservation Centre (smallest bear in the world)
Enjoy Lunch followed by Sandakan City Tour including: Sandakan Memorial Park, Puu Jih Shih Buddhist Temple (that has a fantastic view of the town), St. Michael’s Church (oldest church in Sabah) & Central Market (tamu), Agnes Keith House (celbrating life of American lady who lived in North Borneo in 1950s and wrote three books about colonial life here) and English Tea House (refreshments at your own expense)
Transfer from around 4:00 p.m. to Sandakan Airport or Sandakan City Hotels

This tour Starts / Ends in Sandakan so if you’re intending to make a day-trip from Kota Kinabalu you will need to arrange a flights that arrives in Sandakan before 8am and which departs Sandakan after 4pm
