Kota Kinabalu Helicopter Sightseeing Flight

You’ll be flying from Kota Kinabalu International Airport (BKI) with Layang Layang Aerospace and there’s a choice of two equally exciting flights or you can even arrange your own private charter to the destination of your choice!
Kota Kinabalu City Tour
The Kota Kinabalu city helicopter tour is a breathtaking experience that offers panoramic views of the city's skyline and the beautiful coastline of Sabah. The tour takes you on a thrilling ride above some of the city's most iconic landmarks, such as the Kota Kinabalu City Mosque and the Sabah State Museum. Kota Kinabalu Island Tour
The Kota Kinabalu island helicopter tour is an exciting experience that offers a breathtaking bird's eye view of some of the most stunning islands in Sabah. Fly over Manukan Island, Sapi Island, Mamutik Island, and Gaya Island, and marvel at the crystal-clear waters, white sand beaches, and lush greenery that define these tropical paradises. The tour provides a unique opportunity to witness the beauty of Sabah's islands from a new and unforgettable perspective.
Tour Fare:
Minimum 2 Passengers - RM900 per passenger for either Kota Kinabalu City or Island Tour - sold as ‘Seat-in-Coach’ (see below for details of how to arrange your own private charter)
Both the Kota Kinabalu city tour and island tour provide for approximately fifteen minutes in the air and up to a maximum of four pax per flight (subject to weight). Children must be at least seven years old to fly.
We will always try to accommodate your preferred date and timing for the flight however if this is not operationally possible we will provide you and your party with alternative options. Our recommendation is that you consider an early to mid-morning flight as the light is often at its best for air2ground videos / photos as well as in-cabin pictures including ‘selfies’.

You have the freedom to design your own personalized tour, ensuring a truly unforgettable and unique experience. Enjoy the breathtaking sunset views over Sabah, while having the flexibility to make the most of your time and enjoy the sights that matter most to you. The price of your private charter will be determined by a number of factors including the number of passengers, where you want to go and how long you’ll be in the air for.

0800 - Pick-Up from your hotel (only Kota Kinabalu City area) and transfer to Layang Layang Aerospace at KKIA (Kota Kinabalu International Airport)
0830 - Welcome and Introduction to your Pilot!
0840 - Safety Briefing
0850 - Captain escorts you to your helicopter
0900 - Airborne!
0915 - Touchdown
0930 - Depart Layang Layang Aerospace
1000 - Return to your hotel (only Kota Kinabalu City area)
Important Note:
Both Blue Kinabalu Travel Agency and Layang Layang Group will require all participants (or guardian if the pax is under 18 years old) to sign a “Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk & Indemnity Agreement” prior to flight.
